Our team at Laurel Street Chiropractic & Rehab is dedicated to helping our patients achieve the best results possible in terms of feeling and functioning their best and getting the most out of life. We offer two types of cold laser therapy, each with very specific applications.
Therapeutic Cold Laser
We use the state-of-the-art Erchonia® FX 405 laser. This type of laser therapy employs specific frequencies of light that interact with the mitochondria of the cells in the targeted area, stimulating the body’s healing response. While most therapeutic lasers use only red and near-infrared light, the FX 405 also contains frequencies of violet light. The combination of red and violet lights enhances the oxygenation of the affected tissues, facilitating pain relief and reduction of inflammation.
Lasers have been shown to accelerate healing in many conditions, and we recommend this therapy for pre/post-surgery, acute injuries and wounds, and chronic pain. It may also help with issues like toenail fungus and acne.
Fat Loss Therapy
Our fat-loss laser is the Erchonia® Zerona®Z6, an FDA-approved, non-invasive way to target areas of stubborn fat. It works by emulsifying fat, using specific frequencies of light. Unlike other options, like liposuction, cryolipolysis and body wraps, there are no adverse side effects.
Each session is 40 minutes: you’ll lie on your stomach for 20 minutes, and on your back for 20 minutes. We offer these sessions in 6-visit packages. Most patients begin to see a difference in their body circumference within 2-3 weeks.
Not Covered by Insurance
Laser therapies are not covered by insurance. We accept all major credit cards, HSAs, FSAs and ChiroHealthUSA®. In addition, you may save by purchasing a larger package.
